West Lancashire , formed by Scottish businessmen, this clubs dates back to 1873 and is the oldest club in continuous existence in England. As links course go this is a gem. Many elevated tees give clear views of the sea and the holes ahead. The front nine plays closest to the sea and is bound by wonderful dunes while the back nine tracks the railway. Thick rough surrounds the greens demanding accurate approach play. |
